Claudia welcomes you to an old stone house in the Chianti hills, once a shelter for pilgrims on the Via Francigena.

The house
Here things slow down. You step away from the pace of the city and get your time back: to look around, to taste Tuscany without hurrying.
The road in front of the house was a branch of the Via Francigena, and for centuries pilgrims stopped here to rest. Later La Rocca became a working farm, with wheat, wine and olive oil.
Today a few well-kept rooms remain, with oak floors and bare stone, on a bright hill in open countryside, among the estates that made Chianti famous.
Outside there is the garden with the pool, and La Limonaia, the shaded corner where you can take your breakfast in your own time.
“This is not a luxury hotel: it's a real house, simple and romantic, where you'll feel among friends.”
